27. Your baby will get all he needs for adequate weight gain and growth
The 6% protein content of breastmilk is perfect for growth and development for most of baby's first year, you will not need to supplement his diet with any other foods until at least 6 months of age. Dairy milk contains 15% protein, for the growth and development needed by calves to make them into big and bulky cows, it is no wonder that formula fed babies put weight on more quickly, but as I previously stated, putting on as much weight as possible in the shortest amount of time does not equal optimum nutrition.
